A couple of desperate defenders in yellow shirts scrambled after him, trying in vain to stop the charging force ahead.
This was not a chaotic scene; it was a calculated attack by Haaland, using his superior strength against a vulnerable point. Eventually, the ball found its way to Nico O’Reilly, left completely unguarded, as the entire Dortmund defense had been drawn in by Haaland’s maneuver and now desperately needed reinforcements.
