On Monday, the Trump administration introduced a fast-track visa process for the anticipated influx of visitors for the 2026 World Cup in the US. However, officials have pointed out that having a ticket does not guarantee entry into the country.
The White House announcement detailed Fifa’s new prioritization system for scheduling appointments, allowing ticket-holders to have priority for visa interviews. Despite the faster processing, Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that this does not assure entry.
