The Trump administration on Monday introduced a new fast-track visa system for the millions of visitors expected for the 2026 World Cup in the US, but stated that fans might still be denied entry despite holding tickets.
The Fifa prioritized appointment scheduling system, announced at the White House on Monday, will give World Cup ticket-holders priority for visa interviews. However, Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized that expedited processing does not guarantee entry.
