It’s Christmas Day so there’s precious little football for punters to feast on but there’s a few games in the Saudi Pro League if you’re looking to escape from some festive family hell.
Four of the six teams in action today are in the bottom half of the table but Neom have the chance to move up to sixth if they win at home to Al-Najma.
They are heavy favourites to do just that and it would be a big surprise if Christophe Galtier’s men slipped up against a team sitting bottom of the pile.
Neom vs Al-Najma top betting tips
It has been a disastrous start to the season for Al-Najma as they have collected just one point from their nine games so far.
That draw did come in their last game against Damac and manager Mario Silva will be hoping his side can kickstart their season after the month-long break in league fixtures.
Neom weren’t in great form before the break, with a draw and defeat in their last two games, so they will also be looking for a reboot.
Unibet make them 5/11 hot favourites tonight but backing Neom to be winning at half-time and full-time boosts the odds to 57/50 at BetMGM.
Former West Ham winger Said Benrahma is one of the Neom stars and is available after being snubbed by Algeria for the Africa Cup of Nations. He’s 6/4 at BetMGM for a goal or assist and that looks good value against the team sitting bottom of the table.

Al-Riyadh vs Al-Ettifaq
Al-Ettifaq sit just one place below Neom in the table and will fancy their chances away to an Al-Riyadh side languishing in 14th place.
It’s no surprise to see Al-Ettifaq sitting midtable as they’ve been a model of inconsistency, with three wins, three draws and three defeats so far.
Al-Riyadh are four points worse off than their visitors tonight and a lack of firepower has been the biggest problem, netting just 10 times across their nine games.
Al-Ettifaq have only scored 13 goals themselves so it doesn’t bode well for a thriller when these sides face off today.
The half-time draw looks a good option at 6/4 with Coral while under 2.5 goals is only a little shorter at 6/5 with Betfred.
Al-Fayah vs Al-Hazem
The winter break came at a good time for Al-Fayah after a slump in form and they’ll be hoping a win over Al-Hazem can spark a climb back up the table.
Pedro Emanuel’s side lost three of their last four games before the action came to a halt and that saw them tumble down to 10th place.
Al-Hazem’s form has also been poor, with just one win in four before the break, and they don’t have a good record away to Al-Fayah.
They’ve drawn a blank on their last two visits so an Al-Fayah win to nil could be the shout here at 85/40 with BetVictor.
Silvere Ganvoula should lead the line for the home side and the experienced striker is 7/4 at Paddy Power to add to his two-goal tally in the league this season.
