- The Indiana Pacers lead the NBA Finals 2-1 against the OKC Thunder and are hosting a crucial Game 4
- Despite trailing in the series and already losing in Indiana, the Thunder are 6-point favorites on the road
- I’ve reviewed all Game 4 odds and compiled my top picks and predictions for tonight’s game
The NBA Finals have not unfolded as sportsbooks predicted, with the Thunder, consistent favorites, trailing 2-1 to the Pacers. The series remains in Indianapolis for Game 4, raising stakes as the Pacers aim for a 3-1 lead, pushing the Thunder towards elimination.
This game is critical for the Thunder. A 3-1 deficit would be a significant hurdle. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the 2025 NBA MVP, must improve from his last game’s performance, relying on teammates like Chet Holmgren, who missed all six three-point attempts in Game 3. Expect a tight clash between Indiana’s high-powered offense, led by Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam, and Oklahoma City’s strong defense.
Game time is 8:30 PM ET at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Friday, June 13, live on ABC.
Indiana Pacers vs Oklahoma City Thunder Picks & Prediction
Although favored, the Thunder face several trends favoring the Pacers. Indiana excels at home, especially as an underdog, with a 5-1 against the spread (83.3%) in their last six games as home underdogs and a 12-3 (80%) straight-up record in their last 15 home games. However, they struggle after a win, with a 1-3 spread record (25%) in their last four occurrences.
I expect Indiana to challenge Oklahoma City’s best effort, but after winning two of three games, I doubt the Thunder can cover a 6-point spread on the road. I’m focusing on player props.
Pascal Siakam’s scoring is critical for Indiana to stay competitive. As their consistent half-court creator, his length and speed challenge the Thunder into frequent fouls. With a 19.5 points prop, matching his regular season and playoff averages, I expect him to be pivotal against the Thunder’s defense. He averaged 20.2 PPG in the regular season and 20.6 PPG in this postseason’s 19 games. His series stats:
- Game 1: 19 points (7-15 FGs)
- Game 2: 15 points (3-11)
- Game 3: 21 points (8-14)
Even though Siakam only surpassed this total once in the series, I anticipate the Thunder will try to limit Haliburton’s three-point attempts, creating more drive-and-kick scenarios benefiting Siakam.
Another pick for Game 4 is Bennedict Mathurin to score over 11.5 points. Available as an alternate line at FanDuel in the “Mathurin alternate points” market, Mathurin excels at scoring whenever on the floor. After scoring 27 points in the last game and 14 in Game 2, it’ll be tough for Rick Carlisle to bench him. He’s efficient, shooting 13-19 in the last two games.
Mathurin has scored 12+ points in four of his last six games and in six of eight postseason games where he played 20+ minutes. I predict the Thunder’s aggressive start will increase Mathurin’s early playtime.

- Pascal Siakam Over 19.5 Points
