Rob Edwards has agreed to become the head coach of Wolves on a three-and-a-half-year deal and could be officially appointed as early as Monday. Following initial resistance, Middlesbrough conceded to losing him after discussions on Friday. Wolves will pay approximately £3m in compensation to Boro to release Edwards from his three-year contract signed at the Riverside Stadium in June.
