Rob Edwards is set to sign a three-and-a-half-year contract as the head coach of Wolves, with a formal appointment possible by Monday. Initially, Middlesbrough rejected Wolves’ approach for Edwards, but after talks on Friday, they conceded his departure. Wolves will compensate Boro with approximately £3 million to release Edwards from his contract, which he had signed in June at the Riverside Stadium.
