Johan Lange, Tottenham’s sporting director, shared insights on appointing Igor Tudor as head coach for the season’s remainder. Lange noted: “It’s crucial to have a shorter transition than with a summer head coach change. We interviewed several candidates, and Igor truly stood out during the process.
“He brings vast experience at football’s top level. As a player, he represented a prestigious club, Juventus, and was part of Croatia’s notable 90s national team. His ability to join clubs during February or March and deliver results instantly, especially at big clubs, was a significant factor in our decision.”
