Let’s break it down: the goal was scored following Virgil van Dijk’s header from a corner, and the assistant referee, Stuart Burt, signaled offside. Andy Robertson, in the goal area, was the offside player. As Van Dijk headed the ball, Robertson was nearly blocking the goalkeeper. He then moved slightly left and forward, ducking as the ball approached him, resulting in the ball entering the net.
