Oliver Glasner has urged Crystal Palace to build on their historic FA Cup victory and avoid becoming a “one-hit wonder.” After securing the club’s first major trophy with a stunning win over Manchester City, Glasner emphasized the importance of maintaining steady progress and staying grounded rather than making impulsive changes.
The victory not only marked a milestone for the club but also guaranteed Crystal Palace a place in next season’s Europa League, offering a chance to compete on the European stage. Despite rumors linking him with a potential move to Tottenham, Glasner reaffirmed his commitment to the South London club, saying he is “100% here.”
While the post-match celebrations saw club chairman Steve Parish singing karaoke at a nearby bar, Glasner revealed he had opted for a quieter celebration with his family and even missed Austria’s Eurovision win on the same night. “It must’ve been a great song,” he joked.
Looking ahead to their next match against Wolves, Crystal Palace will be without key players Adam Wharton and Marc Guéhi due to injury. Nonetheless, Glasner remains focused on sustaining the momentum and laying the foundation for consistent success.
