Sky Sports plans to broadcast most of its live Women’s Super League games at noon on Sundays for the upcoming season, aiming to create a new regular timeslot. The schedule for the 2025-26 WSL and WSL 2 will be announced on Friday. While broadcast selections will follow later, sources indicate the 6.45pm slot on Sunday evenings will be replaced with lunchtime games, based on feedback from fans and clubs. The change supports the league’s goal to enhance the “develop around the grounds” narrative, and a trial allowing alcohol in stands will involve 14 WSL clubs.
