Wednesday’s football tips: Chelsea star Enzo 3/1 for a card in semi-final clash with the Gunners

Liam Rosenior got off to a flying start as Chelsea boss at the weekend but now faces his first major test as the Blues host Arsenal in the EFL Cup semi-finals tonight.

An FA Cup tie away to Charlton was a potential banana skin for Rosenior but his dugout debut ended in a 5-1 victory.

He now takes charge at Stamford Bridge for the first time and is in at the deep end with a London derby against the Premier League and Champions League leaders.

Arsenal also came through unscathed away to Championship opposition in the FA Cup, recovering from an early Porstmouth goal to win 4-1.

They’re still fighting on all fronts in what promises to be a memorable season but the EFL Cup is probably lowest on their list of priorities.

This tie means more to Chelsea’s hopes of securing some silverware but they’re 12/5 outsiders tonight, with the Gunners favourites at 13/10.

It ended in a 1-1 draw when Arsenal came to Stamford Bridge on league duty in November and the Blues played most of that game with 10 men.

Heart of Midlothian vs St Mirren

Hearts continue to lead the way in the SPFL Premiership and should put three more points on the board when they host struggling St Mirren tonight.
