Howard Webb stated that officials did not act unreasonably in denying Liverpool an equaliser against Manchester City last weekend but did not explicitly call the controversial decision correct.
Virgil van Dijk’s header was disallowed by referee Chris Kavanagh and was not overturned by video assistant Michael Oliver after Andy Robertson was deemed to have affected City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma while in an offside position.
