• Tulsa’s offense has been sputtering. After upsetting Oklahoma State, Tulsa has struggled on offense. They have scored a total of 21 points over their last two games and will need to be better on that side of the ball if they want to have a chance to pull off an upset in this contest.
• Running back Dominic Richardson is Tulsa’s hope. He leads the team with 112 carries, averaging about 89.7 yards per game with two rushing scores. He’ll need a big day to keep Tulsa competitive.
• ECU’s passing game has taken a step forward. Katin Houser has been effective and he has support in targets like Anthony Smith. Houser has been one of the most prolific passers in the AAC this year and is a big reason that the Pirates are so heavily favored here.
