It’s game on again in the Premier League title race and Manchester City have the chance to cut the gap on leaders Arsenal to two points when they visit Fulham tonight.
It looked like Pep Guardiola’s men would lose more ground at the weekend when Leeds came from 2-0 down to level at the Etihad but Phil Foden popped up with a stoppage-time winner.
The 1-1 draw between the Gunners and Chelsea then capped an excellent weekend for City and they now head to Craven Cottage looking to pile pressure on the leaders.
Fulham vs Manchester City top betting tips
It was also a good weekend for Fulham as they claimed a 2-1 win at Tottenham to make it three victories in their last four Premier League games.
A run of four successive defeats had left the Cottagers dangerously close to the drop zone but they’re back on the up again and will pose a threat to City.
Guardiola’s defence is still looking vulnerable so the 11/8 on offer at Bet365 for Gigi Donnarumma to make over 2.5 saves tonight looks decent.
City won 6-1 and 8-3 on the corner count in last season’s clashes with Fulham so the corner handicap looks safer. Unibet are offering 6/5 on City -2 in that market and that is worth a punt based on last term’s stats.
Newcastle United vs Tottenham Hotspur
Newcastle ended their long wait for an away victory at the weekend and will now bid to make it three Premier League wins in a row when Spurs come to St James’ Park tonight.
Saturday’s thumping 4-1 triumph at Everton was their first triumph on the road domestically this season and it followed up a brilliant 2-1 home win over Manchester City.
Eddie Howe’s men have won six in a row at St James’ Park so it’s hard to see a struggling Tottenham side coming out on top.
Thomas Frank’s men have lost their last three so a Newcastle win with over 1.5 goals looks decent value tonight at evens with Bet365.
Lewis Miley’s impressive weekend display should earn him another start and the Newcastle midfielder is 13/5 at BetMGM to have a shot on target.
AFC Bournemouth vs Everton
Bournemouth have hit a slump after a storming start to the season and need to get back on track when Everton come calling tonight.
The Cherries have taken just one point from their last four Premier League games and threw away a 2-0 lead at the weekend in a 3-2 loss to Sunderland.
Everton are also looking to hit back after a disappointing 4-1 loss to Newcastle so it’s a tricky one to call.
Andoni Iraloa’s men have still been creating heaps of chances and they’ve managed at least five shots on target in seven of their last eight games.
So I’m going to combine over 3.5 saves for Jordan Pickford with over 1.5 saves for opposite number Djorde Petrovic, which pays 7/5 at Bet365.

Antonine Semenyo has gone eight games without a goal for Bournemouth but he’s too good a player to continue misfiring. The powerful winger is evens at Bet365 to either score or assist tonight.
