Trent Alexander-Arnold's Big Day at Real Madrid 2025: Route 12 - SCCG Management | Football Daily

If football doesn’t pan out for Trent Alexander-Arnold at Real Madrid, he could pursue a spot on the Spanish adaptation of Just A Minute, a BBC Radio 4 comedy show. This program features comedians who must speak on a topic for a minute without “hesitation, repetition or deviation.” While it might seem dull when summarized like this, the show is quite entertaining, or at least it was the last time we tuned in. Of course, no such Spanish version exists—likely because Spaniards we’ve met can talk for hours on any topic without faltering. Alexander-Arnold impressed us at his Real Madrid unveiling. He delivered a speech of over a minute in fluent Spanish without any slip-ups.

“If I send you £740,000, will you send me $1bn, as per yesterday’s News, Bits and Bobs section about Gianni’s Club World Cup?” – Chris Hale (and 1,056 others).

“The solution to England’s issues is simple: fire Thomas Tuchel, appoint Ange Postecoglou now, and expect a trophy in his second season—it’s the 2026 World Cup” – Adrian Irving.

Regarding Mike Slattery’s call for naming ideas for Gianni’s latest massive project, Top Trumps seems fitting” – David Ford.

“How about Big Bucket? Or, with more excitement, MegaMug?” – Derrick Cameron.

Re: ‘is it OK to play in vintage football boots’—I own Puma boots from 1970, stored in their original box. These weren’t chosen because Pelé wore them in 1970, but because Leeds United’s Allan ‘The Sniffer’ Clarke, arguably the best Football League player, did. At 73, I unfortunately can’t test playing in them” – Paul Sanderson.
