Popular streamer Trainwreck, known for betting large sums of money, has now revealed that he won 2,500 Bitcoin in a single day of gambling three years ago before losing it within 24 hours. Back then this amount of BTC was worth $40m, but by today’s Bitcoin price that would be worth about $267m.
He said that he was completely broke after that session and regrets throwing away so much money, especially given that the Bitcoin price has grown nearly 700% since then. Bitcoin was priced at $16,000 three years ago. It now stands at $106,780.

Trainwreck did remark during the same stream that he’s on a “generational lucky run” at the moment, saying that it’s been a crazy month. After a three-month hiatus for unexplained reasons, the 34-year-old returned to streaming on June 1. One of his recent highlights was a $9.6m max win while playing Nolimit City’s ‘Munchies’ slot game.
