Brighton & Hove Albion football club’s billionaire owner has acknowledged that his syndicate placed substantial bets using the gambling accounts of Reform UK adviser George Cottrell. This acknowledgment is part of a high court document filed by Tony Bloom, who also reveals that he, Cottrell, and former employee Ryan Dudfield had an arrangement to divide the winnings among them.
