But having to fight on short notice could prove to be a problem for Park in this matchup. His conditioning may not be up to par without the luxury of a full camp to prepare for this specific date. That could move things in Taira’s favor in a big way.
Also working in Taira’s favor is the fact that he has gone five rounds in a UFC main event before. If this fight goes into deep water, I expect Taira’s big fight experience to allow him to wear his opponent down here. But I’m not sure that this fight is going to go that far.
