Content creator Kris ‘Swagg’ Lamberson will be hosting Call of Duty: Warzone tryouts for FaZe Clan at the FaZe x Nuke Squad Warzone Showcase. The event, featuring a $1,000 prize pool, gives winners a chance to represent FaZe in the 2026 Esports World Cup (EWC) and Resurgence Series.
Tryout Details
Scheduled for January 29 at 12:00 PM PST / 3:00 PM EST, the tryouts will have 150 player trio lobbies on Haven’s Hollow in a private custom battle royale format. Players need to achieve a set score to win. Participants must sign up via Google Form, be 18+, stream with a face cam on their main platform, and be eligible for EWC/Resurgence Series. Submission does not guarantee entry.
Swagg’s Prior Events
This event follows Swagg’s 2025 LAN tournament for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at TwitchCon San Diego, which had a $25,000 prize pool.
Resurgence Series and EWC
The Resurgence Series will take place from February to July 2026, featuring a $1.2m prize pool across three LANs:
– Online qualifiers: February 9 for DreamHack Birmingham.
– April qualifiers: For DreamHack Atlanta.
– Championship: Riyadh (July 29–August 1) as part of EWC, with the top 32 teams competing for $1m.
The EWC will include 24 titles such as Warzone, CS2, League of Legends, and Black Ops 7.
