After delivering another winner on Sunday afternoon, SlipsTips shares a selection ahead of Viktoria Plzen’s Champions League qualifier with Rangers on Tuesday evening.

Viktoria Plzen and Rangers will do battle in the second leg of their Champions League third round qualifier at the Doosan Arena on Tuesday evening.

Rangers are in the driving seat to reach the play-off round after recording a commanding 3-0 win last in week’s first leg at Ibrox.

However, the bookies are expecting Viktoria Plzen to prove to be a tougher nut to crack in this week’s return match, with a home win trading at a general 4/5 with most firms.

Considering the state of play in this tie, I’m going to swerve the 1×2 betting and instead propose a player-based selection that holds plenty of appeal.

Djeidi Gassama has been priced up at even-money on Bet 365 to register a minimum of one shot on target on Tuesday evening and that looks too big to ignore.

New Gers winger Gassama has made an instant impact since arriving at Ibrox from Sheffield Wednesday earlier this summer.

In fact, the 21-year-old winger has registered four goals and one assist across his first five appearances for Rangers.

That goal return has coincided with Gassama registering a minimum of one shot on target in each of his five outings for the Light Blues to date.

While Rangers boast a comfortable lead coming into this week’s second leg and don’t have to force the issue, Russell Martin’s men should offer plenty of threat on the counter-attack.

What’s more, Viktoria Plzen have been far from watertight at the back this season, failing to silence their opponents in each of their six matches across all competitions so far.

As such, and as was the case at Ibrox last Tuesday night, the aforementioned Gassama looks like the prime candidate to capitalise on the hosts’ defensive vulnerability.

So with all that in mind, backing the in-form Rangers ace to land a minimum of one on-target effort on Tuesday evening looks well worthy of support at even-money (1/1) with Bet 365.
