SlipsTips examines the Bet Builder market ahead of Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan’s Champions League final showdown on Saturday night.

Both bidding for Champions League glory, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan meet in this season’s final at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Saturday night.

PSG got the better of Arsenal at the semi-final stage to punch their ticket to this year’s final, while Inter edged out Barcelona in an all-time classic.

I’ve already covered European club football’s end of season showpiece in a separate match preview but I’m now going to propose an even-money (1/1) Bet Builder

Over 0 PSG Goals

I’ll get the Bet Builder underway by backing Paris Saint-Germain to score at least once on Saturday night. Only Barcelona (43) have scored more goals than PSG (33) in this season’s Champions League. What’s more, Luis Enrique’s side have scored multiple goals in eight of their previous 11 Champions League matches, racking up three or more strikes in six of those contests.

While Inter Milan started this season’s Champions League in impressive fashion from a defensive perspective, they have not been able to maintain those standards in recent months. In fact, Simone Inzaghi’s side have failed to keep the back door shut in each of their last five continental assignments, shipping a combined total of 10 goals in the process.

Over 3 PSG Corners

Moving on to the second leg of the Bet Builder, I’ll take PSG to earn a minimum of four corners. The French heavyweights have racked up a sizable 101 corners en-route to this season’s Champions League, a tally bettered only by Bayern Munich (105). That high corner kick return amounts to an average north of six per game, making PSG well worthy of support to earn a minimum of four in Munich. Similarly, PSG averaged 6.35 flag-kicks per 90 in Ligue 1 this season.

As for Inter, they are conceding an average of 5.08 corners per game when on continental duty this term, giving up four or more in five of their last six Champions League assignments.

Hakan Calhanoglu To Commit 1+ Foul

I’ll conclude the Bet Builder with a player-based selection by including Hakan Calhanoglu to commit a minimum of one foul. The Inter Milan midfielder has averaged 0.95 fouls per game in this season’s Champions League, committing a combined total of five fouls across his previous five appearances. On top of that, Calhanoglu has collected a yellow card in each of his last two outings in Europe’s premier club competition.

Given what’s at stake, coupled with the plethora of talent that PSG possess going forward, Calhanoglu should have his work cut out on Saturday night, making him a prime candidate to overstep the mark on at least once occasion.
