Unai Emery’s hosts have been in blistering form in recent months, collecting maximum points from eight of their last nine top-flight fixtures.

As for league leaders Arsenal, they extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 11 matches with a 2-0 win over Brentford on Wednesday night.

For the first leg of what will be a player-based treble, I’ll go with Lucas Digne to commit a minimum of one foul. The Aston Villa left-back has committed an average of 0.74 fouls per game in the Premier League this season, falling foul of the referee on multiple occasions in the hosts’ top-flight tussles with both Newcastle and Liverpool earlier this season.

The 32-year-old Frenchman is expected to be handed the thankless task of trying to tame Arsenal talisman Bukayo Saka on Saturday afternoon. The Gunners ace has drawn a hefty average of 2.63 fouls per game in this season’s Premier League.

Sticking with the above-mentioned Saka, I’m also going to include the classy Arsenal forward to attempt a minimum of one shot during this contest. The 24-year-old has posted a shots per 90 average of 2.52 in this season’s English top-flight, registering at least one effort in each of his 12 outings to date.

Now up against an Aston Villa side that are conceding an average of 12.58 shots per game in the Premier League this season, I’m more than happy to back Saka to try his luck at least once during this lunchtime showdown.

Riccardo Calafiori To Commit 1+ Foul

I’ll wrap up the Bet Builder by backing Riccardo Calafiori to get on the wrong side of the referee at least once on Saturday afternoon. The Arsenal defender has been a frequent offender in the Premier League this season, committing an average of 1.66 fouls per game, racking up four yellow cards in the process.

Typically deployed at left-back, Calafiori is likely to be in direct battle with Aston Villa foul magnet John McGinn, who has drawn an average of 2.09 fouls per 90 in this season’s Premier League.
