Today’s Serie A betting tips & predictions

Como vs Fiorentina (2:00pm)

A few weeks ago, these teams faced off in the Coppa Italia, where Como achieved a 3-1 victory in Florence, which they followed with another impressive away win over Napoli after penalties, securing a spot in the semi-finals of the Italian Cup.

In the league, Como are performing well, currently sixth in the standings and pursuing a place in European competitions next season.

In contrast, Fiorentina haven’t won in their last four matches across all competitions, registering just one win in six Serie A games, and are currently in the relegation zone.

Considering these factors, betting on a win for Como, who have beaten Fiorentina three times consecutively, appears to be a reasonable choice.

Como vs Fiorentina top betting tip: Como to win

Lazio vs Atalanta (5:00pm)

Lazio and Atalanta probably aspired to higher standings this season, but both teams are still vying for European spots. Atalanta sits seventh, six points ahead of Lazio, positioning them better in securing a European competition spot.

Both teams have reached the Coppa Italia semi-finals and will face each other there, making this match a preview of that potentially more significant encounter.

We don’t anticipate many goals in this game. The last three meetings between Lazio and Atalanta have all resulted in under 2.5 total goals, and Atalanta’s away matches in Serie A have exceeded 2.5 total goals only 27% of the time.

Expecting a tight, low-scoring game, betting on a draw or a half-time draw seems plausible.

Lazio vs Atalanta top betting tip: Under 2.5 total goals, Half-time draw or full-time draw

Inter Milan vs Juventus (7:45pm)

The hosts are thriving with seven consecutive Serie A wins, creating a five-point lead at the top over city rivals AC Milan. They are also nine points ahead of defending champions Napoli and 12 points ahead of Roma and their upcoming opponent, Juventus.

Meanwhile, Juventus have been inconsistent, with two wins in five recent matches across all competitions, including a 3-0 victory against Atalanta in the Coppa Italia, shifting their focus to Serie A and the Champions League, where they have progressed to the knockout stages.

Given Inter’s dominance this season, a Juventus result avoiding defeat would be surprising, despite Juventus winning their first match this season in a 4-3 thriller in Torino.

Additionally, Inter has only beaten Juventus twice in their last ten meetings, despite clearly being the superior team in recent years. Considering this, backing Juventus to possibly cause an upset on Saturday doesn’t seem far-fetched.
