Haiti and Iran are joined by two African countries on the ban list.
Restrictions may affect fans entering the US
A proclamation by President Trump expanded the administration’s travel bans on Tuesday, now including Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal, participants in the 2026 World Cup.
The travel ban list now comprises these two African nations under “partial restrictions and entry limitations,” the least severe category within the group of 18 nations that the travel ban currently covers. The travel ban already includes World Cup participating countries Haiti and Iran, which face the strictest restrictions.
