Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire have been added to the list of countries under travel restrictions, alongside Haiti and Iran. Fans from these nations may face entry limitations when coming to the US. President Trump signed a proclamation on Tuesday expanding the existing travel ban to include 2026 World Cup participants Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal. These two African countries will experience “partial restrictions and entry limitations,” the least severe category, as per the White House. The travel ban now affects 18 countries in total, including World Cup participants Haiti and Iran, who face the strictest restrictions.
