Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire join the travel ban list with Haiti and Iran
Fans might encounter entry restrictions to the US
A recent order from President Trump expanded travel restrictions to include 2026 World Cup teams Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.
The new additions to the travel ban list, according to a White House statement, face “partial restrictions and entry limitations,” the least severe level among the 18 covered countries after the latest update. The existing travel ban already affects two World Cup participants: Haiti and Iran, both experiencing the strictest measures.
