The Football Association will convey England fans’ dissatisfaction with the steep prices of 2026 World Cup tickets to Fifa. Despite escalating discontent, it is believed that no international federations anticipate a policy change from the governing body of world football.
On Friday, frustration grew among fan groups as it was revealed that the most affordable tickets are priced at 10 times the amount originally promised in the bid by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. For England supporters, this translates to a minimum of $220 (£165) for group stage matches, contrary to the bid document’s model that listed the cheapest seats at $21 (£15.70).
