Saturday’s football: Leeds look good at 13/10 for most cards as they bid to upset the Gunners

It’s another massive weekend in the Premier League title race and leaders Arsenal have a test of nerve on the road at Leeds this afternoon.

The Gunners rounded off a perfect Champions League group campaign in midweek as they beat Kairat to make it eight wins from eight.

But they’ve dropped points in their last three Premier League games and it won’t be easy at Elland Road against a Leeds side who have lost once in their last 11 outings.

Leeds United vs Arsenal top betting tips

Elland Road has been a fortress for Leeds this season, with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all failing to win there.

The bookies can’t see Daniel Farke’s side upsetting Arsenal though as they make the Gunners odds-on favourites at a best 4/7 with Ladbrokes.

Leeds are 6/4 with SkyBet in the double chance but it’s safer going for card and fouls bets as they bid to knock Mikel Arteta’s men out of their stride.

Farke’s side look good at 13/10 with Bet365 to pick up most cards while combining fouls for Brandon Aaronson and Jayden Bogle pays 12/10 at Ladbrokes.

Chelsea vs West Ham United

West Ham United have given their survival hopes a massive boost with back-to-back wins and will now be out to shock Chelsea in a London derby.

The Hammers looked doomed a few weeks ago but rousing victories over Spurs and Sunderland have given them a fighting chance.

Taking down Chelsea at Stamford Bridge is a taller order but the Blues might be tired after their epic 3-2 Champions League win away to Napoli.

That continued Liam Rosenior’s impressive start as manager and his side are 8/15 hot favourites to rack up another win.

Chelsea still look vulnerable in defence though so I’m staying away from backing a winner and going for fouls and cards again.

This derby is often spicy and combining fouls for Hammers duo Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek pays 6/5 with Bet365.

West Ham’s Mateus Fernandes showcased his long-range shooting with two cracking efforts against Sunderland last weekend. He’s 3/1 at BetMGM to have an effort on target in this game and that could offer a bit of value.

Liverpool vs Newcastle United

Liverpool eased some of the pressure on Arne Slot with a Champions League rout in midweek but they desperately need to follow it up with another Anfield victory against Newcastle.

The champions have slipped out of the Premier League top four after failing to win any of their last five league games.

But they crushed Qarabag 6-0 in midweek and now take on a Magpies side who had a much tougher European assignment away to Paris St-Germain.

Eddie Howe’s men claimed an excellent 1-1 draw in that game but how much did it take out of a squad already stretched due to injuries?

Most bookies make Liverpool 4/5 favourites for this one but you can boost their odds to 20/21 by adding on over 1.5 goals.

Games between these sides are often thrillers and backing over 1.5 first-half goals pays a decent 11/8 with Bet365.

Super singles

  • Leeds most cards 13/10 Bet365
  • Matheus Fernandes over 0.5 shots on target 3/1 BetMGM
  • Over 1.5 first-half goals in Liverpool vs Newcastle 11/8 Bet365

Deadly double

  • Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek over 0.5 fouls 6/5 Bet365
