Roobet has revealed that one of its external partners, which looks after some aspects of the player engagement systems of the crypto casino, was the victim of a cyber attack.
In an X post on Friday, Roobet said that Fast Track recently “experienced a security breach” that allowed the hackers to access the vendor’s internal systems and get their hands on some user data:
The operator quickly clarified that none of the Roobet accounts, passwords, or crypto wallets were compromised, as it didn’t store any of this information with Fast Track.
Roobet warned customers about suspicious emails and urged them to get two-factor authentication for their accounts. It will continue communicating with Fast Track to better understand the situation, which has now been contained.
Fast Track offers similar services to the Shuffle gambling site
In addition to working with Roobet, Fast Track offers similar services to the Shuffle online gambling site. In a statement on Friday, the vendor revealed that it was the victim of a “highly sophisticated cyber attack” that targeted two clients who use the Fast Track platform. The Malta-based company maintains that it has “the highest standards of data security.”
