Robert Lewandowski, the record cap holder, has decided to leave the Polish national team, citing a “loss of trust in coach” Michal Probierz as the reason. Probierz, who has been managing Poland since 2023, recently replaced Lewandowski as captain with Piotr Zielinski from Napoli. Lewandowski announced on social media that he will not play for Poland while Probierz is in charge, expressing hope to play again for the fans in the future.
