Regen has launched a first-to-market financial wellness platform that automatically converts sports betting activity into long-term savings, without restricting play or reducing sportsbook handle.

Through direct sportsbook API integrations, Regen monitors users’ betting activity and applies user-defined savings rules, for example, saving 20% of every wager. Based on that activity, Regen automatically transfers funds from the user’s checking account into an FDIC-insured savings account. Because savings are funded outside the sportsbook wallet, wealth-building continues regardless of betting outcomes, preserving operator economics while supporting player financial resilience.

Co-founders Daniel Prior and Benson Bleier built Regen to solve a straightforward problem: people enjoy sports betting, but most don’t have a financial safety net and would like to build one. Rather than forcing players to choose between entertainment and financial wellness, Regen makes it possible to do both.

Regen operates with a dual go-to-market strategy, serving both bettors and sportsbook operators.

On the operator side, Regen provides a turnkey integration that allows sportsbooks to embed automated savings into Responsible Gaming and player engagement programs. Rather than limiting play, Regen makes everyday players more sustainable, supporting longer tenure and lower churn while maintaining betting frequency and handle. For operators navigating an increasingly complex regulatory landscape, Regen offers proactive differentiation aligned with evolving compliance expectations.

On the consumer side, bettors connect their bank and sportsbook accounts, set savings preferences once, and Regen handles the rest. The platform works across multiple sportsbooks, giving users a unified view of their betting activity and savings growth without interfering with the wagering experience.

“We’re not competing with sportsbooks. We’re making the ecosystem more sustainable,” said Daniel Prior, Co-Founder and CEO. “Financially stable players have higher LTV. We’re building infrastructure that aligns player welfare with operator economics.”

Early results suggest traction on both sides of the market. In six weeks of beta testing, approximately 100 users saved more than $9,000, with heavy users accumulating hundreds to thousands of dollars per month. Operators have expressed interest in Regen as a retention and sustainability tool that strengthens Responsible Gaming positioning without reducing betting activity and readies them for evolving compliance requirements.

Regen’s infrastructure is live, with banking partnerships and sportsbook API integrations already operational. The company is preparing for general availability in Q1 2026.

Regen represents the first platform to connect sports betting behavior directly to automated wealth-building. Unlike traditional RG tools that limit play or traditional savings apps that require manual action, Regen creates a behavioral loop where betting activity itself drives financial progress.

Players build real financial security while continuing to enjoy the sports they love. Operators benefit from longer-tenured, more stable customers. The industry demonstrates meaningful impact on players’ financial lives beyond traditional harm-reduction approaches.

“”This is Responsible Gaming 2.0,” added Benson Bleier, Co-Founder. “We’re not asking players to bet less. We’re making sure they build wealth while they bet.”
