The Rangers’ goal streak continued, with 13 goals in their last two games. Trocheck scored twice, and Cuylle added an empty-net goal, completing the 7-3 victory. Despite the win, the Rangers were outplayed statistically, with Tampa Bay leading in shot attempts, high-danger chances, and expected goals. In the third period, the Lightning applied significant pressure, but the Rangers held on for the win.
