PrizePicks, the largest daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator in North America, announced Thursday it has received gaming licenses in Puerto Rico and Maine, marking a significant regulatory milestone in its national expansion. With the approvals, PrizePicks becomes the first DFS operator licensed in Puerto Rico, and now operates in 47 U.S. jurisdictions.
The company’s skill-based fantasy product, Arena, is now live in Maine, while a launch in Puerto Rico is expected “in the coming months,” according to the company.

Earlier this year, the company received iCAP accreditation from the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), becoming the first and only DFS operator to achieve this certification for responsible gaming.
