Richarlison is running out of time. With Dominic Solanke and Randal Kolo Muani injured, the Brazilian had a chance to play consistently in Thomas Frank’s lineup, but with only one goal since the season opener, he missed the opportunity. Now that Kolo Muani is fit, the ex-Everton player finds himself on the bench and didn’t make an impact against FC Copenhagen midweek, missing a penalty earned by Dane Scarlett. There’s strong competition, even in a Spurs team that managed just 0.1 xG in their loss to Chelsea – the lowest for any Premier League side this season – and transfer rumors have already started ahead of January. Ivan Toney (who played under Frank at Brentford) and Dusan Vlahovic (out of contract at Juventus next summer) are linked with the club. With Tottenham having funds available, Richarlison must capitalize on his playing time if he wants a future with the club and keep his place in Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad for the World Cup next summer.
