13.08 Racehorse Sanctuary & Rehoming Centre Maiden Hurdle

Jamada could be challenging, but POET LAUREATE showed potential by finishing third on his hurdles debut at Worcester three weeks ago and is likely to improve with the Chris Gordon team in good form. He’s a strong contender against the favorite, who missed a key chance at Sedgefield last time.

Tips: POET LAUREATE

13.38 Extech Cloud Novices’ Handicap Chase

The consistent GONE IN SIXTY is poised for success, having completed her last four races, including at the same course and distance two weeks ago. She can compete off the same mark, suggesting she’ll be competitive.

Tips: GONE IN SIXTY

14.08 Roy Farley 80th Birthday Celebration Maiden Hurdle

Maldini Milano seems unreliable, so the preference is for DAYLATEDOLLARSHORT with the in-form Olly Murphy and Sean Bowen team. This point winner has a good opportunity to make an impact on his hurdles debut and is favored.

Tips: DAYLATEDOLLARSHORT

14.38 Auditel Cost & Carbon Management Challenge Handicap Hurdle

WALK ON HIGH was in excellent form when last seen, winning consecutive events, and should continue to improve this season. Harry Fry’s trainee still seems ahead of the handicapper at a mark of 128, making a successful return likely despite moving up in grade. LOVERDOSE is also worth considering.

Tips: WALK ON HIGH & LOVERDOSE

15.08 John Weight Gone But Not Forgotten Handicap Chase

IVANE is in excellent form, having achieved three wins from the last four starts, including beating Bumpy Evans at Sedgefield. Despite a 6lb rise and a drop in distance, he’s thriving and could win again. Last week’s Fontwell third, JEFFERY’S CROSS, is also a strong contender off an unchanged mark.

Tips: IVANE & JEFFERY’S CROSS

15.38 Fully Booked Handicap Hurdle

MISTRESS EMMA won her only bumper start in 2022 and returned from a lengthy break to finish second on her hurdles debut at Newbury last December. She looked likely to challenge seriously at Warwick until making a bad mistake at the last hurdle, and her opening mark of 103 on handicap debut appears generous.

Tips: MISTRESS EMMA
