In the 69th minute, Yeremy Pino celebrated as he scored his second goal for Crystal Palace, his stunning shot hitting the underside of the crossbar before going in. Down in the away technical area, Palace manager Oliver Glasner almost lost his footing in excitement. By the end, the away fans were asking goalkeeper Dean Henderson for song choices.
For Wolves and their new permanent manager Rob Edwards, it was a tough start. Pino scored six minutes after Daniel Muñoz’s opening goal, securing a win that moved Palace to fourth.
