Betfair Interactive US LLC, operating as FanDuel in Pennsylvania, was fined $40,000 for not licensing several employees as required. The violation was presented by PGCB’s Office of Enforcement Counsel (OEC) during a public meeting in Harrisburg. Details about the unlicensed employees were not disclosed, but compliance is emphasized.
**Sugarhouse Penalized $30K for Underage Gambling**
Sugarhouse HSP Gaming LP, which runs Rivers Casino Philadelphia, faced a $30,000 fine for allowing underage individuals to access the gaming area and gamble in two separate incidents. The PGCB stresses strict supervision to prevent underage gambling, underscoring the importance of financial penalties for such violations.
**Seven Added to Involuntary Exclusion Lists**
The Board added seven individuals to its Involuntary Exclusion Lists, raising the total to 1,411. This action bars them from entering any PGCB-regulated casino, video gaming terminal (VGT) location, or online platform. A notable case involved a woman who left two minors unattended for over seven hours at Hollywood Casino at the Meadows.
Five individuals were added to the casino exclusion list, with two placed on the interactive gaming exclusion list due to online gambling fraud. The PGCB continues its “Don’t Gamble with Kids” campaign to highlight the dangers of leaving children unattended near gaming venues.
The next public PGCB meeting is set for 10:00 a.m. on August 20, 2025, at the Strawberry Square Complex in Harrisburg.
