The PGA Tour has inked a deal with Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360) to implement its sportsbook-monitoring ProhiBet technology, which will identify any players, officials, or administrative staff engaging in illegal betting activities.
IC360 took to X on Wednesday to reveal that its refreshed collaboration with the US golfing body will allow the PGA Tour “to proactively protect fairness and compliance across the sport:”
PGA Tour’s Vice President of Gaming Scott Warfield called the ProhiBet technology “a valuable new component” in helping the organization preserve a “safe and responsible gaming environment for our players, fans, and partners.”
IC360 co-CEO Scott Sadin, meanwhile, said in a news release that ProhiBet would give the PGA Tour “a powerful, real-time mechanism to protect the game.”
The integrity and compliance provider recently uncovered shady betting activity on a UFC fight involving Isaac Dulgarian, which the FBI is investigating. Sadin’s firm also blew the whistle on Cleveland Guardians pitchers Emmanuel Clase and Luis Ortiz, who have both since been federally charged for an illegal gambling scheme.
