Pep Guardiola has expressed concern over a rule barring Marc Guéhi from playing in the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal in March. The Manchester City manager mentioned that the club plans to ask the Football League to review this rule. According to cup regulations, new signings must join before the semi-final first leg. City advanced to the final at Wembley following a 3-1 semi-final second-leg victory over Newcastle, resulting in a 5-1 aggregate score after a 2-0 win in the first leg on 13 January.
