I don’t think it is a stretch to say that this is the worst game of the week in the CFL in terms of form coming into Week 5. These teams have one combined win going into their game on Sunday, with that win coming from Ottawa in Week 3 against Calgary. Edmonton is winless on the year, losing all three of their games by double-digits. I’m not sure oddsmakers know what to do with this game given how much both teams have struggled.
Quarterback Play
The quarterback position has been a problem for Ottawa this year, thanks to an injury to Dru Brown. Dustin Crum has taken his place in recent weeks, without too much success. But Brown could be back this week, as he is taking first-team snaps in practice. Edmonton’s Tre Ford has been healthy and mostly efficient, but has lacked the ability to complete the deep ball consistently.

Final Thoughts
This game is a toss-up as far as I’m concerned, as neither team has shown much of an ability to string together four straight quarters of competent play.
