After extensive renovations, Poker Palace Casino in North Las Vegas is set to reopen as Club Fortune North, pending regulatory approval. The casino closed in September 2025 following its purchase by Truckee Gaming LLC for $20 million. The revamped facility features a modern look, replacing its outdated design, with improvements including new slot machines, gaming systems, and amenities. Truckee Gaming plans to rehire former staff, aiming for a mid-April reopening. The venue will also include a race and sports wagering area managed by Boomers Sportsbook. Targeting local patrons, the company selected the site due to growth trends in North Las Vegas, favoring a community-focused approach. This renovation reflects increasing demand for neighborhood casinos in Southern Nevada. The former Poker Palace, a fixture since 1974, is transformed but retains its commitment to serving local guests.
