The 2025 NBA Draft is approaching, and while Cooper Flagg is expected to be the No. 1 pick for Dallas, there are still betting opportunities in the player position over/under markets.
NBA Draft position odds offer great value. Teams reach for workout warriors, agents negotiate, and suddenly that “sure-fire” lottery pick is sliding.
We’ve identified four spots where sportsbooks’ lines don’t match our information. Here are the NBA Draft position over/under odds and my best bets for Wednesday night.
NBA Draft Position Over/Under Odds
DraftKings has over/under betting lines for 15 prospects in the 2025 NBA Draft. Jeremiah Fears is the highest-rated prospect to bet on, with an over/under of 6.5 trending towards the “under”.

Best Bet #1: Carter Bryant Under 11.5 (-200)
Carter Bryant has climbed draft boards recently, with odds moving from +275 to +100. Initially a longshot for the top ten, he’s now expected to be picked by 12, or earlier.
At Arizona, his stats weren’t remarkable (6.5 points, 4.1 rebounds), but the NBA drafts on potential. Bryant, a 6-foot-7 forward with a 7-foot wingspan and 39.5-inch vertical leap, hit 46% on open threes and can defend multiple positions.
Positive team workout buzz surrounds Phoenix, who got the 10th pick in the Kevin Durant trade. Portland at 11 and Toronto at 9 are also interested. Atlanta at 13 is the floor, providing breathing room.
Though pricey at -200, this is a solid bet. Bryant’s size, athleticism, and shooting skills are now being recognized.
Best Bet #2: Danny Wolf Over 22.5 (-110)
NBA mock drafts have Wolf as a late first-rounder, but draft room discussions suggest otherwise.
Wolf impressed at Michigan with 13.2 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. Scouts are split on his play, given his 6-foot-11, 252-pound frame with point-forward skills. However, his 23.9% turnover rate and poor shooting raise concerns.
Teams in the late teens and early 20s seek immediate contributors. The Wizards at 18 have Alex Sarr. Brooklyn at 19 focuses on athleticism and defense. Miami at 20 prioritizes defensive flexibility, an area where Wolf struggles.
Though a team may fall for his unique mix, his defensive issues and turnovers make him likely to slip past 23. At -110, betting the over provides value.
Best Bet #3: Noa Essengue Over 9.5 (+160)
Essengue has been projected from 9 to 15, but there’s reason to believe he’ll slide past 9.5.
The 18-year-old forward from France is athletic but raw. He shot 27.2% from three in Germany and lacks defensive awareness. Top 10 teams seek immediate help or franchise potential; Essengue lacks both.
Toronto at pick 9 is key, but recent reports suggest they favor guards like Kasparas Jakucionis and Derik Queen. With Scottie Barnes signed long-term, a backcourt focus makes sense.
At +160, betting on Toronto passing on Essengue, as indicated by workout chatter, offers great odds.
Best Bet #4: Jeremiah Fears Under 6.5 (-125)
Fears’ unpredictability adds value. The Oklahoma guard reclassified late, averaging over 18 points in his first 13 games. He possesses quickness and ball-handling skills. Though his stats fell in SEC play, context is key; he was 18 facing college veterans.
Teams 4-5-6—Charlotte, Utah, Washington—need what Fears offers. Charlotte desires a second playmaker with LaMelo Ball. Utah can’t resist Fears’ potential. Washington wants a partner for Bub Carrington.
Rumors suggest Fears won’t fall past Utah, where GM Danny Ainge takes risks on talented guards. At -125, securing Fears before New Orleans and Brooklyn, who anticipate he’ll be gone, is a steal.
