A winner-takes-all scenario arises in the Durham Super Regional as the Murray State Racers (43-15) clash with the Duke Blue Devils (41-20).
On Sunday, the Racers delivered a decisive 19-9 win over the Blue Devils, forcing a final showdown. A spot in the College World Series awaits, marking a potential first for Murray State and the end of a long absence for Duke since 1961.
The game kicks off on Monday at 7pm ET from Jack Coombs Field in Durham, North Carolina, with live streaming on ESPN+.
Murray State vs Duke Odds
Murray State is a +200 underdog against Duke, who stands at -250, with a 2.5-run spread. The total is set at 16 runs.
The other seven Super Regionals are concluded, leaving one spot open for the 2025 CWS, commencing June 13 at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Nebraska. Duke has +2500 odds in the College World Series futures, while Murray State is a +9000 longshot.

In postseason play, they have scored at least 23 runs in three Oxford Regional games, surpassing the 16-run total in four of their last five games. The Blue Devils restricted them to their lowest postseason scoring in Game 1 with a 7-4 win.
Despite Duke’s strong offense, ranking second in the ACC for runs and home runs, they’ve struggled with a .222 average in the Super Regional. They managed six home runs among those hits.
Duke’s pitching faltered on Sunday, which could be troubling, as the Racers maintain a .347 average over the two games.
Duke’s past performance in Game 3s isn’t promising either: they lost 12-2 to Virginia in 2023, 13-2 to Vanderbilt in 2019, and 6-2 to Texas Tech in 2018.
However, this is their first home game in a Super Regional finale, and they haven’t dropped consecutive games at Jack Coombs Field since May 2024. Strong pitching, including from the bullpen, is crucial. If achieved, the game might stay under the total.
