The Mets have announced the organization of an Alumni Classic Game, set to take place before their 4:10 p.m. ET game against the Texas Rangers on September 13. The event will feature over 40 former players, with a team of Shea Stadium legends competing against Citi Field’s best in a three-inning game. The Shea Stadium team will be co-managed by Willie Randolph and Bobby Valentine, while Terry Collins and Jerry Manuel will lead the Citi Field squad.
