It will be ten years and a day since the Dons last beat Celtic at Pittodrie – a truly horrific record for a club the size of Aberdeen.
They remain managerless and ruderless. They were crushed 3-0 at Kilmarnock on Saturday in a game where they could easily have lost by double that.
They are a defensive shambles, especially from set-pices and will have to cobble a central defence together for Wednesday with injuries and suspensions hampering them.
Celtic have certainly imporoved considerable under Martin O’Neill and look a threat going forward again.
It really should be a comfortable away win.
Dundee vs Motherwell predictions
Motherwell look a solid shout at a shade odds-on at 10/11 to win at Dundee with bet365.
The Lanarkshire side continue to rightfully get all the plaudits going this for a remarkable season and there has been no sign whatsover of their bandwagon derailing. If anything they appear to be gaining confidence and getting stronger.
They’ve lost once in the league since October and that was at Ibrox and a trip to Dens Park should hold little in way of fear for them.
Dundee have certainly improved under Steven Pressley, but they are still not completely safe.
But not only are Well freescoring, they have now kept a clean sheet for five out of their last six games and should have too much for Dundee on Tayside.
St Mirren vs Hearts predictions
Leaders Hearts travel to Paisley on Tuesday night and this could be a tight encounter against St Mirren at one of their least favourite venues.
Saints have already knocked Hearts out of the League Cup at the same venue and they remain a strong outfit at home.
They have had a really disappointing league season, but they are capable of raising their game. They also surely must have a point to prove having lost so weakly to a ten-man Hearts at Tynecastle last month.
Hearts still have key men missing and this could easily be a low-scoring slog, which could be a physical encounter
