ANOTHER full midweek of Scottish Premiership fixtures and some others in the lower leagues.

And Tuesday’s Edinburgh derby between Hearts and Hibs already looks like it could be a seismic game in the race for the title.

Hearts’ title hopes took a severe dent after they lost at St Mirren and perhaps even more importantly, they had key defender Craig Halkett sent off and he is now suspended for this crunch.

That means Hearts will be missing three essential players for them – Halkett, captain Lawrence Shankland and star man Cammy Devlin.

They face a Hibs team who travel to short distance to Gorgie on a high after a fantastic comeback win at home to Dundee United.

Hibs were trailing 2-1 in the dying embers of the game, only to score two goals and win it at the death.

It’s tempting to back Hibs on the double chance market at 10/11 for a draw or a win, but David Gray’s side do have a lot of new faces and we can’t be certain how they will react to the atmosphere.
