Manchester City begin their home campaign after a dominant 4-0 away victory over Wolves in their season opener. City got goals from Erling Haaland, Tijjani Reijnders, and Rayan Cherki. Reijnders was especially impressive for City as he was a great playmaker in addition to finding the back of the net. The start of the season was encouraging from City after a dismal season last year.
Tottenham had their worst-ever Premier League finish last season. But they made a statement in their first match with an impressive 3-0 win over Burnley at home. Spurs navigated their first match without Son Heung-min without any problems. But they might miss Son more in this match against a City side Son always seemed to find success against.
The focal point of this match will be City’s attack against Spurs’ fragile defence. Spurs did a nice job defensively against Burnley in their opener. But Burnley is expected to be relegated this year and clamping down on City’s attack will be a much tougher task.

With that said, I expect Spurs to get a goal out of this match and for the BTTS market to be a Yes. Son’s departure will make things harder than they have been in the past for Spurs against City. But the visitors should get a goal here even if they ultimately come up short. A parlay of City and BTTS Yes pays out around -120 and that is the direction I’ll go on Saturday.
