Liverpool secures striker from Eintracht Frankfurt with six-year agreement
Liverpool’s summer expenditure approaches £300m
Liverpool has finalized the acquisition of Hugo Ekitiké from Eintracht Frankfurt, with the striker declining a last-minute bid from Manchester United to intervene in the transfer.
The France Under-21 forward has joined the Premier League champions for a fixed £69m with an additional £10m possible in add-ons, after completing a medical in the UK on Tuesday. He has reportedly signed a six-year contract and will meet his new teammates on their pre-season tour in Hong Kong and Japan.
