In recent years, the Cincinnati Bengals have emerged as one of the most talented teams in the NFL, particularly on offense, led by star quarterback Joe Burrow.
A major factor in Burrow’s success has been the dynamic receiving duo of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, considered one of the best in the league and compensated accordingly.
As the 2025 NFL season approaches, Higgins and Chase are eager to justify their substantial contracts with Cincinnati.
“I’m pretty sure that’s the big thing Cincinnati wants us to do, too,” Chase told ESPN. “And not just Cincinnati, the fans and everyone around. You got to prove ourselves all over again.”
Chase envisions growth for himself and Higgins with the Bengals.
“I think it’s been a good journey,” said Chase during a marketing tour with General Mills and Lucky Charms. “I know Tee’s been on a different journey than I have, with (the) two different boats we’ve been in. But we just basically added our boats together now, just learning from each other, building with each other.”
Following disappointing outcomes in recent seasons, the Bengals are under pressure in 2025 to meet expectations as an AFC contender for the Super Bowl.
